2019 Infiniti QX80 Concept Specs Review
2019 Infiniti QX80. The new Infiniti represents the next generation model. The concept will be based on the Infiniti QX80 study that was presented at the 2018 New York Motor Show. Therefore, it will show with redesigned exterior and luxurious cabin as always. Maybe, we can see some new exterior colors and more technology. As for the engine, the new Infiniti QX80 may use the same module as the current model. We had a feeling that was coming, Infinity confirmed only: 2019 Infiniti QX80 is due to get a thorough update.
Although it is not a big break from the previous generation, the changes are easy to spot. The Japanese manufacturer will soon offer a brand new luxury SUV flagship. This is the 2019 Infiniti QX80. This model was first introduced in 2004 as the QX56. Since then it has been given a complete redesign in 2010; and then underwent a mid-cycle renovation when it got a new name, say Infiniti QX80 current.
When it comes to exterior design, the new 2019 Infiniti QX80 looks futuristic, bold and very handsome. Its flat body will be relaxed with rounded lines and shapes. It will install on the body on the architecture that also supports the current model. The first thing we will notice is the larger grille that will be revised. Headlamps will be slimmer and equipped with LED lighting. LED backlights will be thinner too. You will also get larger and functional barrier openings. In addition, side mirrors should be replaced with rearview cameras. As well, the new Infiniti QX80 will be offered with optional 24-inch wheels. Inside, the 2019 Infiniti QX80 will be at the top of the class.
The cabin will provide spacious, luxurious and good design. It will have three rows of comfortable seats. However, the third grade will be suitable only for children or young adults. The seats will be covered with quality leather. On the dashboard, we will note some nice wood details. Some standard features will be tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, power and heated steering wheel. As for safety, it will be provided with blind spot monitors, ambient vision cameras, lane departure warning, forward collision warning etc.
The Infiniti QX80 remains unchanged in the new year, continuing with the 5.7-liter V8, which produces 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. This powerful V8 will continue to be mated with a seven-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to the rear wheels or all four wheels with an optional system on each steering wheel. The EHS is still testing the current Infiniti QX80 for safety, and we expect it to take a sweet time with the 2019 model as well. We know that 2019 Infiniti QX80 will have a wide range of safety features available, including lane departure warning, lane maintenance help, adaptive cruise adjustment, automatic emergency braking, blind monitoring, backdoor traffic alarm, and more. The new 2019 is a smart rearview mirror in the luxury technology package.
Official pricing will start from $65,745 and amount to $68,845 ($995 included destination fee). The 2019 competition will include the Cadillac Escalade, the Lexus Lee, and the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. Infiniti has not issued an official date for sale in 2019 Infiniti QX80, but must arrive before the end of 2018.
